PRODUCT MANAGER – IMMUNOASSAYS & ANTIBODIES

Position Summary

We're seeking a dynamic Product Manager – Immunoassays & Antibodies to represent Universal Biotechnology's extensive antibodies and related reagent portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities

To provide support, technical positioning and market development of Antibodies products in India. Drive scientific engagement to trials to conversion.

• Support product strategy for oncology, immunology, and diagnostics portfolio based on real research and market demand
• Define application-driven positioning (WB, IHC, IF, cell-based assays) for high-impact targets
• Act as scientific authority for complex queries, experimental design, and failure analysis
• Drive product selection, validation strategy, and technical differentiation vs competitors
• Develop high-quality technical content: product positioning notes, competitive comparison sheets, scientific pitch decks
• Translate research insights and lab experience into commercially viable product opportunities
• Mentor and train sales team to improve scientific depth and conversion capability
• Support strategic accounts and critical opportunities where deep scientific intervention is required

Qualifications

• MSc / M.Tech / PhD (Life Sciences)
• 6–8+ years total experience in research lab and/or industry (MANDATORY)
• Must have hands-on experience in research lab environment
• Prior exposure to industry (biotech/diagnostics/life science company) preferred
• Strong background in Cancer biology / Diagnostics / Molecular biology
• Hands-on experience in: Western Blot, IHC / IF, Cell culture
